International Women's Day, March 8th

International Women's Day, March 8th

This year, International Women's Day on March 8th is celebrated for an equal future in the world of Covid-19. It celebrates the enormous efforts made by women and girls around the world to define a more egalitarian future and recovery from the pandemic. With the full and effective participation and leadership of women in all walks of life, progress is made for everyone.

At Café Monteverde we have many woman collaborators, including coffee pickers, food producers, and baristas. All of them tell a different story of improvement and growth, but above all of how they enjoy their work.
We celebrate their perseverance, their patience, their desire to fight. Every morning they wake up ready to shower those around them with that special magic that characterizes them, that little grain of sand that the world needs so much. A world that continues to be difficult for us, that sometimes mistreats us, that does not always reward us as we deserve. Because even if they are tired, they always want to give a smile to the people who need it most. Because even if they are sad they always find the strength to get up and move forward. Thanks to all our women for filling the world with light and joy.
